Alex Barto
Personal Trainer
- Currently completing his masters in Exercise Physiology
- Graduated in 2019 from Victoria University
- Accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
- Loves his soccer
- Favourite type of training is weight lifting/ strength and conditioning
My road to becoming a personal trainer started out being the skinny kid in school who wanted to look better and improve my performance on the soccer field.
I started weight training at the age of 18 and from there I knew this was the industry for me. My principles in life have revolved around the professional athlete lifestyle living by clean eating and optimal training.
I am a strong believer that exercise should be involved in everyone’s life and I love to show people the benefits of an active lifestyle. I am to first improve on someone’s health by having them change their lifestyle habits which will then enable them to achieve the body they desire.
Let’s start hitting goals!

Alex Duffy
Personal Trainer
- Graduated in 2021 from Deakin University
- Majored in Strength and Conditioning
- Loves his combat sports
- Currently trains Muay Thai (kickboxing) and holds a first Dan black belt in Taekwondo
- Currently completing an internship with Core Advantage
My love for the industry started back in the early days of high school when I started going to the gym with a few mates. After seeing the changes a few months of consistent training made to my strength levels got me fascinated with training.
Fast forward almost 10 years and my love for the industry has only gotten stronger. Completing a bachelor degree in exercise and sports science with a major in strength and conditioning, as well as completing an internship with Hawthorn FC as a physical preparation coach.
I believe in an evidenced based approach to the prescription and delivery of training programs. I have a keen interest within strength and conditioning for sports and assisting clients reaching goals they would never of thought were possible.
Jess Lallo
Personal Trainer
- Completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport science in 2021 at RMIT
- Internship with Exercise Research Australia
- Plays high level netball (VNL)
- Cert IV in Allied Health
- Group fitness trainer for 3 years
I’ve been playing netball my whole life. The last 8 years I have been an athlete in the state league (VNL) where I train in an elite performance and professional environment. I joined the gym at 16 to help improve my netball, and this is where I was able to find my love for exercise and strength training.
I knew I wanted to work in this industry so I completed 5 years of study to allow myself the privilege to train and help others achieve their goals and push them to become the best (and strongest) version of themselves.
I look forward to meeting everyone in the studio and smashing some goals

Dean Nguyen
Personal Trainer
- Graduated from La Trobe University in 2022
- Currently completing his Masters in Physiotherapy
- Played Premier A League Division Football (VAFA)
- Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCA)
- Loves watching American Football, Basketball, and Athletics.
When I first began going to my local gym at 16 years old, I remember wanting to get as strong as possible. So, I made the rookie mistake of doing 100 reps in a row on the bench press and would constantly tire myself believing that it would get results fast. To say the least, I was overtraining and quickly realised that a great training program is combined with high-level nutrition and recovery.
Since then. I attained a Sports and Exercise Science Degree from Latrobe University and immersed myself into a new lifestyle by training as an athlete. I am most proud of having played Premier A League Football (VAFA) alongside many state-league and ex-AFL players. Organisations I have worked with in the past include Maribyrnong Sports Academy, Sandringham Football Club, and ACE Performance.
Sharing my professional knowledge and experiences with you will help you to avoid the common mistakes made in fitness and create a holistic training, nutrition, and recovery program to be your best self.
